COMPOSITION:Each ml contains:Gentamicin (as sulphate) BP.... 100 mgINDICATIONS AND USAGE:GENTAJAT Inj. is indicated for the treatment of a wide range of gram negative bacteria, Staphylococci and certain mycobacteria. It is effective in treatment of complicated skin, bone or soft tissue infections, complicated urinary tract infections, septicemia, peritonitis and other severe intra abdominal infections, endocarditis, Mycobacterium infections,Neonatal sepsis. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:Horse: 4-5 mg/kg bw, by I/M or slow I/V inj. every 8 hrs for 3-5 days Dogs and Cats: 3-4 mg/kg bw, by I/M or slow IV inj. every 8 hrs for 3-5 daysPRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to Aminoglycosides.• Do not use the product in animals sufferingfrom renal failure.WITHDRAWAL TIME:Meat: 31 days.
